Half of the songs written in the United States and the other half of the songs written in Indonesia, this 6 song concept EP was birthed before, during and after Michael Chorvat's major transition of moving across the world to a foreign country to live for a year. Honest and inspiring, The Darkness is The Light EP explores the philosophy that darkness is needed in order for the light to exist. That suffering and the feeling of separation is needed in order to come out of misery and into more happiness, joy, love, compassion and unity. It is the ultimate realization that the darkness and the light are one in the same. That duality is an illusion and there is only one universal truth. This truth can only be found in one's heart.
